Following the critically acclaimed documentary, three young people will share their stories about being young and homeless in Washington, DC.

5:30pm: Pre-Screening Reception with Community Advocates
Enjoy food and beverages offered by WHUT while meeting local non-profit leaders working on homeless youth initiatives. Learn about volunteer opportunities, resources, and advocacy campaigns.
6:30pm: The Homestretch Screening
The Homestretch follows three homeless teens as they fight to stay in school, graduate, and build a future. Each of these smart, ambitious teenagers - Roque, Kasey and Anthony - will surprise, inspire, and challenge audiences to rethink stereotypes of homelessness as they work to complete their education while facing the trauma of being alone and abandoned at an early age.
7:30pm - 8:30pm: Youth Panel
Three youth living in Washington, DC share their experiences of being homeless, offering insights and solutions to help their struggling peers.
